Extra Optical opens physical store

- We’re proud to see such a forward-thinking company expand its local presence while staying true to its digital roots.

Last week, we had the pleasure of visiting Extra Optical on the opening day of their brand-new physical store at Tiller in Trondheim. It was inspiring to see how EO is taking their digital success into the local community with a modern, full-service eyewear shop.

From Digital to Local

We’ve followed Extra Optical’s journey since the beginning as one of Norway’s first online opticians to their position today as a trusted name for affordable, quality eyewear. Seeing them bring that same customer-focused approach to a physical space has been fun and impressive.

A Workshop That Brings Service Closer

One highlight of the new store is their in-house workshop, where customers can get repairs, lens replacements, and adjustments done quickly and locally. It’s clear they’ve listened to their customers’ wishes for fast, hands-on service without the hassle of shipping or waiting.

Timeless Designs, Now In-Store

Walking through the new shop, we loved seeing their wide range of classic and contemporary frames; from Ray-Bans to retro styles inspired by the 50s and 60s. You can now try everything on in person and get advice from knowledgeable staff before making your choice.

Strengthening Community Connections

Extra Optical has always been known for great service and fair prices, and their positive reviews speak for themselves. With this new location, they’re making that experience even more accessible to the Trondheim region. It was great to interview and speak to the returning customers on the opening day!

Congratulations to the Extra Optical team on this exciting milestone! We’re proud to see such a forward-thinking company expand its local presence while staying true to its digital roots. We wish you all the best in your continued growth, and we’re sure Trondheim’s eyewear lovers will appreciate having you right in the neighborhood.
